Research Experience

SDN/VNF Application in Nanosatellite Network Communication

  • Worked as an RA in University of Glasgow to research how to deploy SDN networks and VNFs on nanosatellites.
  • Investigated what VNFs are feasible to deploy on nanosatellites and what communication approach to be used between satellites and ground station.
  • Designed the plan to examine the experiment, and purchased the experiment equipment.
  • Quantitative analysis of experimental data to summarize ways to improve the network performance of nanosatellites.

Identification of Image Captcha Based on CNN

• Institution: South Central University for Nationalities, Wuhan, China

• Details:
  • Designed algorithms for image processing and collected captcha images for Model training.
  • Integrated functions aimed at enhancing the image pre-processing effect, including image greying, and image binarization.
  • Constructed and refined a Convolution Neural Network (CNN)-based model utilizing the TensorFlow, which has reached a 99.16% prediction accuracy. This remarkable achievement represents a significant leap in accuracy compared to previous models.
